Like every business across Australia and New Zealand, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone, including those who work in or frequent health and leisure facilities. As instructed by Government, doors are now temporarily closed for all health and leisure facilities across the Belgravia Group network. During such unprecedented times, the Belgravia Group are doing everything they can to continue to support its nearly 160,000 members and staff, starting with the launch of their newly created Home Fitness Network.
The Home Fitness Network, launched today just 24 hours since closing the doors of more than 180 facilities, is an online training and nutrition program designed exclusively by the Belgravia Group. It includes workout videos created by fitness professionals across the various Belgravia Group business units including Belgravia Leisure, Genesis Health + Fitness, Coaching Zone… to name a few; along with 100+ Les Mills workouts and access to a bespoke nutrition portal, dedicated Facebook group, Spotify channel and call centre support.
“The Home Fitness Network combines exercise, nutrition and community support in one place – bringing OUR place, to YOUR place to help our members stay healthy, fit and socially connected from the comfort of their own homes during this challenging and unprecedented time,” says Ian Jensen-Muir CEO Belgravia Health and Fitness. “Keeping a routine of exercise and good nutrition wherever possible will help ensure a positive mindset during these difficult times.”
The Home Fitness Network has been designed to include something for everyone and every family. From high intensity interval training to dance fitness workouts to BODYCOMBAT. There’s even BORN TO MOVE children’s workouts that will get our littler members (those 4 -16 years) moving, and a post-partum series developed especially for new mothers.
Further cementing the online program’s purpose, Nick Cox CEO Belgravia Leisure said “Belgravia Group has played an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of communities for upwards of 30 years. Launching Home Fitness Network swiftly and ensuring it contains content that helps our members continue to remain healthy, happy and active has been and remains a priority while we all make our way through the other side of this uncertain time.”
Belgravia Group members, including Genesis Health + Fitness, Coaching Zone, Ninja Parc and those at more than 180 local council and state facilities,Home Fitness Network for $5 per week, plus the general public can access for $7.50 per week.
At such a challenging period for people throughout Australia and New Zealand, and abroad, Belgravia Group hopes that this product inspires movement, connections and ultimately fosters a positive outlook for our network and beyond. Not just for its members but for their families and loved ones. Together we are stronger.
